So What Else - Montgomery County is the Montgomery County chapter of the larger So What Else Helps organization. So What Else - Montgomery County hosts a Food Pantry and Thrift Shop in North Bethesda for community food and clothing needs. Additionally, they have distributions in Gaithersburg listed below. Appointments are required for the Wyaconda Rd location - click the button below to make an appointment.

So What Else - D.C. is the D.C. chapter of the larger So What Else Helps organization. So What Else - D.C. serves the Washington D.C. with mobile food distributions on a weekly and bi-weekly basis.

SOME is a D.C.-based organization that provides a variety of services to individuals who are seeking support. SOME's services include: "Housing, Emergency and Social Services, Healthcare, Education and Workforce Development, and Advocacy" (Source: SOME, 2023).
SOME offers multiple resources throughout the week. Please keep in mind that some resources require proof of D.C. residency.

Center for Employment Training: Mondays - Fridays | Apply in person: 8:30am to 11:00am | 4430 Benning Road, NE | Applicants must be at least 18 years old and be able to produce a state-issued ID, a Social Security Card, a Birth Certificate, and a current TB test result. Applicants must be pass a drug test and possess the basic math and English skills needed to benefit from the program.
